Story
A few things I care about, whoever I’m building for.

Listening first
Before I build anything, I try to understand the brand behind it: who it’s for, how it should feel, and what it needs to do for the people who run it every day.

Making it feel like theirs
A site should look and sound like the people it belongs to, not like me. For MorningMob, that meant a storefront that reads like a magazine rather than a marketplace listing. For Office Planner, a catalogue calm enough to carry 84 products and 35 past projects.

Building it to last
I would rather a site be quietly reliable than impressive for a week. OXO’s store runs on more than 250 automated tests, and was load-tested with 800 shoppers at once without a single error.

Caring about the small things
The details people only notice when they’re missing: a calendar you can use with a keyboard, colours checked against accessibility standards, an email the moment an order ships, and an enrolment that’s never lost if an alert fails.
